The 2008 CBA Awards Banquet is set for Friday March 14 and Saturday March 15, 2008 at the Denver Merchandise Mart, East 58th Ave. in Denver, Colo.

Festivities will begin Friday evening with a special Live Performance by Wayne and Watson of their previously released CD “On the Wild Side.” NOTE: There will be a $5 cover charge for the Friday Evening events that will be collected at the door. Friday night will include food, drinks and door prizes.

Dave Watson and Wayne Carlton will also be our Saturday Night Guest Speakers. This year’s Saturday Night banquet dinner will include a Prime Rib/Roast Pork Loin Buffet. Tred Barta will host the Teen Scene and also do a special seminar on Saturday.

First Timer Awards: The CBA will present the “First Timer” Awards to individuals who harvested their first animal with a bow. All of our First Timers will receive an award as well as be recognized on stage at the evening festivities. Big Game Awards – All inputs for Big Game Awards and Big 8,9, and 10 must be submitted to Todd Brickel. Please include your fair chase affidavit and score sheet and a suitable field photo to be added to future record books. For more information please contact Todd Brickel at 719-683-8201.

Trophy Display – The CBA Banquet puts together the largest state Bowhunting Trophy Display. If you are interested in displaying your trophy(s) please e-mail Troy Cunningham or call him at 303-697-5003. They do not have to be this year's harvest only.

Dealers/Vendors – If you are interested in having a vendor booth space please e-mail Fred Seyfried or call him at 303-353-7150. Vendors will be open on Friday from 5 pm – 10 pm and Saturday from 9 am – 5 pm. Remember, space is limited so get your reservation in ASAP.

Auction – The Banquet Committee needs help collecting Auction and/or Raffle items. If you have any items to donate or info on where items may be obtained, please contact Carol or Rose.

Photo Contest – Three Categories – Wildlife, Scenic and Bowhunting. All photos must be framed and/or matted. Contact Vince Martinez at 303-710-1712 for more information.

Craft Contest – There will be prizes given way for Three Categories: Women’s Division, Men’s Division and Youth (17 & under) Division. Handmade items only. Contact Carol for more information.
