    • Fort Collins Archery Association Range
    Its time again for our 3D Triple Crown shoot out at the Fort Collins Archery Range. Dates for the shoots are March 7th, April 4th, and May 2nd. The shoot is going to be very different this year from the past. It is going to include 40 targets at varying ranges, angles, and a few surprises thrown in.


    The Range is located South on the West frontage Road from the I-25 and Prospect av. exit. Range finders are not allowed but feel free to bring the Binoculars along.


    There are only 3 classes including compound, recurve, and youth(15-10) and each class will be mixed gender. Children under 10 years of age will shoot for free at any distance but won't be turning in a score card. The compound class will be shooting from a max of 55 Yards. Recurve and youth classes will be shooting from a max of 35 Yards. Lunch will be provided after the first 20 targets with the remaining 20 targets being shot afterward. This course will be set up challenging and offer shots from many different angles and obstacles in some tight spaces. Weather for these shoots has been variable to say the least in the past so come prepared.

    Payout
    There will be a guaranteed 3 place payout for each class each shoot. If there are more than 20 shooters in a class it will be broken equally into two flights with with the first 3 places in each flight having a payout.

    Cost
    Adults= $20 day of and $15 pre register
    Youth=$10 day of and $8 pre register
    Plus 3$ per car for parking at the range. This is done by the clubhouse with a Credit Card acceptor

    Directions: From C-470 and Wadsworth, go 3.75 miles south on Wadsworth. Turn right on road leading to Colorado Golf and Turf. Turn right again on Skyward Road and follow road .75 mile to Building M41.


    Special Instructions for All Students

    This course is a Bowhunting Hunter Education class being held on March 18 and 19 from 6 PM - 9:30 PM at the club house and on Saturday, March 21, from 8:00 AM until about 4:00 PM. The Saturday PM session will be outdoors. The course location is near Chatfield Reservoir..(more directions will be sent)

    You need to bring your own equipment to shoot archery. IF you do not have your own equipment let us know as soon as you can. Contact either Bob Ventura, 303-953-1966, or Don Biesecker at 303-344-8880.

    The cost is $10.00 per student. We accept cash (exact amount only) or check made out to SHFC. Parents may attend for free.

    Things to bring to class
    1. liability waiver form (next notice) and 
    2. Student Consent form (get at time of registration for the course).

    REGISTRATION:

    You can either register through the website or, if you prefer, you can send in a check or credit card information along with the registration form, which you can download HERE.

    NOTE: There are no longer any "couples" registrations; each person attending will register as a single person. Also, there is no longer any assigned seating; all seating is on a first-come-first-served basis.

    VENDORS:

    Vendor space is limited. Vendor spaces may be reserved for $100 or a donation of equal or greater value. For vendor information or registration, please contact Roger Trudell.

    All photos must be submitted at the event by 11 am on Saturday March 27th, 2015. Photos must be at least 5” x 7” and must be either framed and/or matted. Name and address must be on the BACK of the photo.

    BIG GAME AWARD ENTRIES:

    If you are interested in submitting your harvested big game in the CBA Awards or display your trophy at the banquet, please contact John McDonald.
